I treat all types of health problems and specialize in women’s health and gynecological issues including infertility. I treat women of all ages, with painful menses to osteoporosis problems. As to the treatment of fertility, due to the growing number of couples having problems conceiving, there is no greater reward than hearing, “I’m pregnant!” It is music to my ears. Getting to the heart of the issue and coming up with the appropriate treatment and therapy for each couple is “key.”
For best results, I’ve found knowing: the blood/hormone testing, pelvic/fallopian tube evaluations, as well as past medication/hormone use, to be very helpful in coming up with the best overall treatment plan. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many well-known fertility specialists in Southern California to provide stress-reduction to patients, as well as enhance their IUI or IVF procedure results. I feel blessed to have helped many couples achieve their dreams of having a family.
Another area I’m passionate about is sports injuries! I’m an avid tennis player and I know how tough it is to not be able to do what you love!
In 22+ years of practice, I’ve helped many athletes to heal and recover more rapidly from their injuries so they can get back to their favorite sport.
I graduated in 1987 from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and have taught and clinically supervised there since 1995. I currently teach a course in OB/GYN disorders and another in treatments for Fertility.
Using only pre-sterilized needles, treatments may be a combination of: massage; Chinese herbal medicine; heating therapies; micro-current therapy; as well as nutritional and lifestyle counseling. The goal is to nurture the patient, increase their level of health and stamina, and reduce the effects of stress on their body.
